For serious adoption inquiries and for stray animal reclaims, appointments can be made
between Noon and 5:00PM, Monday through Friday or Noon and 4:00PM on Saturday, by calling 319-362-6288.
 

Masks are required during appointments. We ask members of the public to please not attempt to set up appointments if you are showing any signs of illness or have been exposed to others who are ill. The health and safety of our animals depends directly on the health and safety of our staff.
 

We understand this may be disappointing to those who wished to visit our shelter during this time, but have determined this is the best course of action to ensure that our staff can dedicate their attention and focus their efforts towards keeping the animals happy, healthy, and safe.
