Adoption programs
The Cat companions program provides free cat adoptions to senior citizens (65 years old+). Each adopter qualifies for one free adoption. Cats must be over the age of one. Each adoption comes with a complimentary cat carrier, litter box, food bowls, a free check up at the veterinarian, and starter food.
$5,000 – Annual Presenting Sponsorship: A $5,000 gift ensures that the Cat Companions program is fully funded on an annual basis. All materials, including a “Congratulations on your Cat Companions adoption” flyer will include sponsor logo.
Pets for Vets Adoption Program
The Pets for Vets Adoption Program provides discounted cat and dog adoption services to local area veterans. This program subsidizes the adoption cost of an adult cat or dog for half off the normal adoption fees along with 25% off CVHS Dog Obedience Class.
$5,000 – Annual Presenting Sponsorship: A $5,000 gift ensures that the Pets for Vets program is fully funded on an annual basis. All materials, including marketing materials will include sponsors’ logos.
Lonely Hearts Adoption Program
The Lonely Hearts Adoption Program provides a discounted adoption fee for animals that have been at the Cedar Valley Humane Society for 90 days or more. This program subsidizes the adoption cost of these animals to encourage potential adopters to not overlook them because of their lengthy stay at a shelter. Dog adoption fees of $150 would instead be $75. Cat adoption fees of $90 would instead be $45.
