Humane Education

One of our most important jobs at the Cedar Valley Humane Society is to spread the message of responsible animal care. We teach school children about the humane treatment of pets through school presentations and shelter tours. We visit schools, libraries, and camps with Humane Society animals, and conduct on-site tours of our facility.

Programs:

  • Dog Safety
  • Puppy Introduction
  • Pet Care
  • The Function of the Humane Society
