Found out right off that he LOVES catnip toys, tinsel balls, perching on the window ledges, and being held like a baby with his head on my shoulder and his purrs in my ear.
I wasn’t sure I was ready for another cat after my 22-year-old, Gertie, died in April, but Tigg Mo’s photo on the Continue Reading »
I thought I would let you know that the former Dioge has moved in and made himself at home. First and foremost, we had a chat, and I ran several names by him, and he liked McTavish. It is a proper Scottish moniker, and he will be called Mac for short. We both feel that is a HUGE improvement.
He met all of the cats but Greyson, my resident spook. That will take several days, but I think he and Missy are going to be buddies. Mac and I played ball last night, had a brief walk for Continue Reading »
Shadow (now Ms. Rivers, because she sounds like Joan Rivers) has been a true blessing to my home and is a wonderful roommate/fur baby. I absolutely adore her, her quiet meow and her grumpy face. She loves to sit in the sunshine on her cat tree, gets chin scratches at every opportunity, and enjoys grazing on the cat grass that’s been grown just for her.
She’s enjoying being completely spoiled. This 13-year-old girl has found her forever home and has made my life so Continue Reading »
It’s only been a few days, and she fits right in. She spends most of her time relaxing on my lap. If I stop petting her, she Continue Reading »
Yesterday was an exciting day for me. I went with Mom and Dad to Menards to buy a kennel. I was so nervous and excited I had diarrhea in the car! (Even though I had JUST had a potty break!)
I had a nice evening with my new kitten. She was not scared of me at ALL! This morning was a relief because Mom was scared I’d be sick in the kennel, but everything is fine! Just needed a little adjustment, but Continue Reading »
October is just all we could have hoped for! He is such a sweet and playful guy! He likes to Continue Reading »
He was very interested in checking everything out, but he settled down as soon as we did and was perfect. It’s obvious that he was used to sleeping Continue Reading »
She is so perfect for my family. Every single day my dad, mom, and I look at each other and ask how we got so lucky. She is so well behaved and is a lot of fun. I have been teaching her new tricks. Continue Reading »
She’s a big cuddle-bug Continue Reading »
We absolutely love Nala! She’s already well trained, and so loveable, and she has not shown any bad habits! She sits and stays, and she’s very quiet. (She only barked when the neighbor from a few houses down was walking two of his dogs across the street while Nala was out, and it was because they barked at her first!) She wore herself (and us!) out the day we got her, as we had to take her out to walk, play, and check out the yard every half hour!
She tells us when she needs to go out, Continue Reading »
I wanted to update you on Zeus! As you can see, he is one pampered pup! And he loves his belly rubs! When he went to the vet he had gained two pounds so he is doing awesome! He is our family’s pride and joy! Thank you again for letting me adopt him!
We adopted Chloe and Dude… and renamed them Jack and Jill. They are doing fabulously — fitting right in with our family as you can see! We have an appointment with the vet on Friday to make sure all is well. Thank you all so much!
He has been such a blessing to our little family. He enjoys running Continue Reading »
She is a wonderful pup and is doing just fine. The only thing she doesn’t like is our kitty, but I’m sure that will change in time. She loves to go outside and run free in the backyard. She is also very attentive and a good watch dog. She has free run of the house and loves it. I am so glad I saw her picture online and got to meet her right away.
Thank you everyone for your time spent Continue Reading »
Despite some health Continue Reading »
Gus loves going on walks and to the dog park to see all of the other dogs. He runs and plays fetch with other people, many times Continue Reading »
Just wanted to let you know that things are going great at this new home that you found for me back in June. There are five kids here that I love to play with, and I have a big back yard in which to play endless games of fetch! (The only thing more fun than playing fetch is playing fetch in the snow!) Continue Reading »
We adopted Ollie (FKA Rocky) about nine months ago. He was a puppy-mill rescue who needed a lot of TLC. He’s always had severe separation anxiety, and we’ve been working on that. He would be anxious and have Continue Reading »
Our new Max, formerly Tyler, is energetic and lovable and happy. He enjoys tracking deer scents, running in the woods, digging holes, playing tag, tug of war and lying down in the creek while drinking at the same time.
He has finally managed to contain his impulse to chase our five cats and can now walk right by them. He loves people and only growls at tractors he has never met.
We know he is a Lab mix, and we Continue Reading »
Chevy has taken well to our new home and the adventures we’ve put in front of him. This past weekend we took him camping with us at Lake Rathbun, and he loved the time outside exploring new territory. He was very intrigued by the water and fish, which made me want to send along an update! Continue Reading »
