I renamed him Boo. My last two cats’ names started with Boo, and I wanted to keep that going. I had just finished the book To Kill a Mockingbird which has a character named Boo, so Boo he became!
He has adjusted 100 percent. The very first day he wasn’t quite sure what to Continue Reading »
He loves to run around on our farm and come to work with us every day. We have a great time with him, and we take him with us everywhere we go.
All in all, Rocky is a funny, happy dog. We love him so much! Thanks for bringing this sweetheart into our lives!
The Regal Family
We adopted Hermie (renamed Hunter) on Thursday and he is such a blessing to us. He is remarkably well-mannered for such a young puppy! He gets along so well with our other two dogs, too!
My kids were at their dad’s last night, so Hunter slept in my bed along with my Lab, Hawkeye, and my Pug/Bichon mix, Sophie. He slept all night long! Continue Reading »
Nora (now Daphne) is adjusting to life as part of our family seamlessly. Our kitties aren’t too sure about her yet, but she’s loving the fenced-in yard and has made friends with the neighbor dog already! They had a lot of fun racing each other this afternoon.
Thank you all for the work that you do. We’re grateful to have added a new member to our family today.

The pretty pointer mix Dakota has grown from 25 pounds when I brought him home to a 44-pound lap dog. He is very spoiled with tennis balls and his chew tire. He hardly barks and is always happy to see me Continue Reading »
A week before Christmas 2013 I came in looking for a companion for my 10-month-old Maine Coon after my senior cat died. I was looking for a black cat at the time, since I’ve always had a fondness for them and have heard they are harder to adopt out.
A friend and I drove up to your shelter. After a few minutes, I came across a 10-month-old black cat named Midnight. The second I opened his kennel, he trotted up to me and started to climb onto my shoulders. When he plopped down Continue Reading »
She’s very smart and knows how to fetch, sit, sit pretty, and is working on stay (though staying still is really difficult for her unless she’s cuddling with Continue Reading »
We are absolutely in love with her, and she has settled in quite nicely. She’s sleeping soundly with our daughter at night. It took her a couple of days to figure out our stairs, but now she’s a pro! She’s also figured out that the train we can hear several times a day is nothing to worry about and not a reason to lie down on the Continue Reading »
They are really good cats who love to explore in the backyard, get into things they shouldn’t and cuddle together whenever they Continue Reading »
Stacy, now Oakley, seems comfortable and happy here. She is such a sweet dog, and she loves to cuddle and go on walks. We have been working on sit, stay, shake, and down, and she is picking things up fast. Thank you for bringing us together. Oakley is a great companion.
Ridder (now known as Marvin) is doing so great in our home. He is no longer scared or hiding from everything. He loves his new brothers and sister, and he really loves his comfy bed! We took him in for a photo shoot Continue Reading »
Just wanted to let you know what a blessing George and Fred have been in my life these past three years. They are brothers who love to play together, groom each other, and watch out for each other. Continue Reading »
Trigger, now known as Ajax, has adjusted very well. He seems to be happy and LOVES having his big brother Duke to play with! We can’t thank you enough for allowing Continue Reading »
She is so happy, loving and gentle. She is very well behaved and already potty trained. Nala loves to run and play.
We love her and she is a wonderful addition to our family!

As soon as I opened the kennel door, Mac came rushing out straight towards our eight-pound dog Maeya and started purring!
We never guessed introducing them would be that easy, since Maeya’s Continue Reading »
We go for morning and afternoon walks nearly every day at Noelridge Park. She gets VERY excited when we pull up and nearly falls off her seat in the car! She’s a great walking partner.
She has met both her brothers, Aesyn and Kitty (our two fat cats). Kitty took to her right away. Aesyn is getting closer Continue Reading »
As I write this, Yolanda is demanding I pet her.
The kids and I adore our furry friends, and as you can see, the two of them seem to be adapting to each other.
Thanks for making these sweeties part of our lives!

She has been a great addition to our family, and I’m very happy to have her!
Thank you for all you did for her before I adopted her!
Found out right off that he LOVES catnip toys, tinsel balls, perching on the window ledges, and being held like a baby with his head on my shoulder and his purrs in my ear.
I wasn’t sure I was ready for another cat after my 22-year-old, Gertie, died in April, but Tigg Mo’s photo on the Continue Reading »
I thought I would let you know that the former Dioge has moved in and made himself at home. First and foremost, we had a chat, and I ran several names by him, and he liked McTavish. It is a proper Scottish moniker, and he will be called Mac for short. We both feel that is a HUGE improvement.
He met all of the cats but Greyson, my resident spook. That will take several days, but I think he and Missy are going to be buddies. Mac and I played ball last night, had a brief walk for Continue Reading »
