Knox Continues to Thrive

Knox was born on March 13, 2008. He was brought to the Cedar Valley Humane society at seven months of age because his previous owner could no longer take care of him. This was his home for about one month until his picture crossed the path of his forever owner.
During the first meeting, Knox was a ball of energy, jumping on everyone and everything, but I still knew that he was meant to come home
with me. After filling out the paperwork I went home to prepare my house for this rambunctious little guy. Two days later I got the call to come pick up Knox. Still full of energy, he had no problem leaping right into the back seat; he was ready to go home.
Knox is absolutely wonderful. He has never chewed up anything he wasn’t supposed to and was actually quite calm when he got home and was free to roam around the house all day. However, he still loves to “hot lap” around the house (sprint as fast as he can in every room upstairs and downstairs) for no reason every now and again. He loves to play with other dogs of all sizes and gender and is very gentle with little kids, although he has knocked a few over with his kisses.
His favorite toy is a Scooby-Doo stuffed animal which he plays hard with all day and sleeps with all night. He loves to hide under beds and has learned many tricks (sit, shake, lie down, crawl, take a nap, high five, roll over). He loves to be cradled belly up like a baby, have his belly rubbed, and be kissed, hugged, and cuddled. Knox is the most lovable guy you could ever meet.
